Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how BuilderGPT ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses,
and protects your information when you use our mobile application ("App").
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect

- We do not perform facial recognition or extract biometric identifiers from your uploads.
2. How We Use the Information
We use the collected data to:
- Provide and maintain the App;
- Operate AI features and generate content based on your inputs;
- Manage subscriptions, Token balances, and in-app purchases;
- Display your Token balance, subscription status, and history inside the App;
- Monitor and improve performance, stability, and user experience;
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, or misuse;
- Generate anonymous statistics and analytics to understand how the App is used.
3. AI-Powered Features and Third-Party AI Services
3.1 What Data Is Sent to a Third-Party AI Service
The App includes AI-powered features that allow you to generate Minecraft structures
from text descriptions. To provide these features, the following data may be sent to
a third-party AI service:
- Text prompts — the description of the build you enter (for example, "a medieval castle with towers");
- Reference images — if you optionally attach an image to guide the generation.
No other personal data (such as your name, email, device identifier, IP address,
or payment information) is sent to the third-party AI service.
3.2 Who the Data Is Sent To
Your text prompts and optional reference images are sent to OpenAI, L.L.C.
("OpenAI") via their API for processing. OpenAI acts as a data processor on our behalf
solely to generate the requested content.
You can review OpenAI's privacy practices at:
https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy
3.3 How the Data Is Used by the AI Service
- Your prompts and images are used solely to generate the content you requested.
- Under OpenAI's API data usage policy, data submitted through the API is not used to train or improve OpenAI's models.
- OpenAI may retain API inputs for up to 30 days for abuse and misuse monitoring purposes, after which they are deleted. Zero-day retention may apply depending on the endpoint used.
- Your data is not sold to any third party and is not used for advertising.
3.4 Your Consent
Before any data is sent to the third-party AI service for the first time, the App will
ask for your explicit consent. You may choose to decline, in which case your data will
not be sent and the AI generation features will not be available. You only need to
provide consent once; it will be remembered for future use.
3.5 Data Security in Transit
All data transmitted between the App, our servers, and OpenAI's API is encrypted
using HTTPS/TLS. OpenAI maintains industry-standard security measures to protect
data during processing.
3.6 Onboarding and Promotional Examples
The App may display example prompts, example results, previews, or demonstration
content in onboarding screens, paywalls, tutorials, or marketing materials.
These examples are for illustrative purposes only and do not reflect guaranteed results.
Outputs from generative AI may vary significantly based on prompt wording, context,
system parameters, model updates, safety filters, and service load. As a result,
the quality, style, detail level, and usefulness of generated outputs may differ
from any examples shown.
3.7 Storage of AI Inputs and Outputs
-
We may temporarily store prompts and associated technical metadata on our secure servers
to process requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
-
Generated outputs ("Generated Content") may be stored so you can access your history
and reuse results inside the App (where the feature is available).
-
While we aim to store data reliably, prompts, history, or Generated Content may be
deleted or lost due to technical issues, maintenance, server problems, or data corruption.
We do not guarantee permanent availability of any Generated Content, to the maximum
extent permitted by law.
3.8 No Biometric Identification or Face Recognition
We do not use uploads or Generated Content to perform facial recognition,
identify individuals, or build biometric profiles.
3.9 No Use for Training Separate Models Without Your Consent
We do not use your prompts, uploads, or Generated Content to train or create
separate general-purpose AI models beyond what is necessary to provide BuilderGPT's
AI features, unless we clearly inform you and obtain your explicit consent where required.
3.10 Your Responsibility for Content
You are responsible for the prompts and any content you upload, as well as for how
you use Generated Content. You must ensure that:
- you have the rights to use any content you upload;
- your inputs and use of Generated Content do not violate laws or third-party rights;
- you comply with all relevant policies (for example, Minecraft-related policies by Mojang/Microsoft).
4. Legal Bases for Processing (Where Applicable)
Depending on your location (for example, if you are in the European Economic Area or the UK),
we process personal data under one or more legal bases:
- Performance of a contract: to provide access to the App, tokens, subscriptions, and AI features;
- Legitimate interests: to improve the App, prevent abuse, and maintain security;
- Consent: where required, for specific uses such as sending data to third-party AI services for generation;
- Compliance with legal obligations: where required by law.
5. Third-Party Services
We may use trusted third-party services to operate the App, such as:
- OpenAI — to power AI-based content generation features (see Section 3 for details on what data is shared);
- RevenueCat or similar providers, to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases;
- App store providers (Apple App Store, Google Play) for billing and distribution;
- Analytics and crash reporting services used in the Expo / React Native ecosystem;
- Hosting and infrastructure providers for servers and databases.
These third parties may process data on our behalf and are obligated to protect it
under their own policies and applicable law. We require that any third party with access
to user data provides the same or equivalent level of data protection as described
in this Privacy Policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the App and
fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law.
- Device and usage data: retained as needed for analytics and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymized.
- Subscription and purchase records: retained as required for accounting, tax, and legal obligations.
- AI inputs and uploaded content (if applicable): may be stored temporarily for processing, security, and troubleshooting.
- Generated Content: may be stored to support your history, but may be deleted at any time due to technical issues or maintenance.
- AI consent records: retained as long as your account exists to avoid repeated consent requests.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal
data from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with
personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. International Data Transfers
We may store and process information on servers located in different countries.
In particular, data sent to OpenAI for AI processing may be processed on servers
located in the United States. Data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
We take reasonable steps to protect information in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data from
accidental loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, such as:
- secure servers and restricted access controls;
- encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transfers, including transfers to third-party AI services;
- data minimization and access limitation.
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee
absolute security.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including
access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability (where applicable).
To exercise your rights, contact us at:
gohelpapps0@gmail.com.
We may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.
11. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The mobile App typically does not use "cookies" like websites, but may use similar
technologies (such as local storage or identifiers) to remember preferences, operate
subscriptions/tokens, and support analytics or reliability.
12. Do Not Track and Similar Signals
Some browsers provide "Do Not Track" signals. There is no universally accepted standard
for responding to them, and our App does not respond to DNT signals.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify
you within the App, via the app store listing, or by other reasonable means. Continued use
after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
