1. Information We Collect

We aim to collect only what is necessary to operate, secure, and improve the App.

1.1 Device Identifier

• Device ID / internal identifier used to operate the Service, maintain sessions, and help restore access where supported.
• We do not require you to create an account with name/email to use the App.

1.2 Device and Technical Information

• Device model and operating system version;
• Language and region settings;
• App version and basic technical configuration.

1.3 Usage Data

• Screens viewed and interactions within the App;
• Session length and frequency of use;
• Events related to features (e.g., starting an AI generation, opening tutorials, completing actions);
• Crash reports and error logs.

1.4 Subscription and Purchase Information

• Subscription status (active/inactive/plan type);
• Token balances and token purchase history;
• Purchase-related identifiers provided by the app stores and/or our subscription provider (e.g., transaction IDs, product identifiers).

1.5 Uploaded Photos and AI Inputs

When you use AI Features, you may upload images and/or provide prompts, such as:

• Photos/images you upload for AI processing;
• Prompts or text instructions you enter.

1.6 Network Information

• Approximate IP address (used for security, fraud prevention, and basic analytics).

1.7 What We Do Not Collect by Default

• We do not collect your real name, email address, contacts, or phone number through the App interface (unless you email us).
• We do not collect precise GPS location.
• We do not perform facial recognition or extract biometric identifiers from your images.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the App and AI Features;
• Process your uploads and generate step-by-step drawing tutorials and other outputs;
• Manage subscriptions, purchases, and Token balances (including trial/paid period rules);
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, fraud, or misuse;
• Improve performance, stability, and user experience;
• Create aggregated/anonymized analytics about how the App is used.

3. AI Features, Photos, and Generated Content

3.1 Processing of Uploaded Photos

When you upload an image for AI processing, we temporarily store the uploaded image and associated data on secure servers in order to process it and generate outputs.

3.2 Storage and Retention

• Uploaded photos/images: stored for up to one (1) year from the time of upload, unless you delete them earlier (where such deletion tools are available).
• Generated Content: may be stored without a fixed time limit so you can access your history and reuse results inside the App.

We do not guarantee permanent availability of any Generated Content. It may be deleted or lost due to technical issues, maintenance, or data corruption. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for such loss.

3.3 Using Content to Improve and Train AI

We may use your uploaded photos, prompts, and Generated Content to operate, improve, and develop the Service, including improving and training AI systems used by the App, quality evaluation, and safety.

Where required by applicable law (for example, certain jurisdictions in the EEA/UK), we will rely on an appropriate legal basis (such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests, or consent) and provide required notices and/or controls.

3.4 No Biometric Identification

We do not use uploaded photos or Generated Content to identify individuals, perform facial recognition, or build biometric profiles.

3.5 Your Responsibility

You are responsible for the content you upload and the Generated Content you create and use. You must ensure that:

• you have the rights to use the images you upload;
• your uploads and Generated Content do not violate laws or third-party rights.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (Where Applicable)

Depending on your location (including the EEA/UK), we process personal data under one or more legal bases:

• Performance of a contract: to provide the App, AI processing, Tokens, and subscriptions;
• Legitimate interests: to improve and secure the Service, prevent abuse, and maintain performance;
• Consent: where required for specific processing activities;
• Legal obligations: for compliance with law, accounting, and tax requirements.

5. Sharing and Third-Party Services

We use trusted service providers to operate the App, such as:

• RevenueCat (or similar) for subscriptions and purchase management;
• Apple App Store / Google Play for billing and distribution;
• Hosting and infrastructure providers to host servers and databases.

These providers may process data on our behalf and are obligated to protect it under their own policies and applicable law.

We currently do not show third-party advertising in the App. If we add ads in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and request consent where required.

6. Data Retention

• Device/usage data: kept as needed for analytics and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymized.
• Purchase records: retained as required for accounting, tax, and legal obligations.
• Uploaded photos: up to 1 year (unless deleted earlier where supported).
• Generated Content: stored without a fixed end date, but may be deleted due to maintenance, technical issues, or deletion requests where supported.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data, contact us so we can delete it.

8. International Data Transfers

We may store and process information on servers located in different countries. Data protection laws may differ across countries. We take reasonable steps to protect information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data (e.g., restricted access, encryption in transit where appropriate). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@freecraft.app. We may ask you to verify your identity.

11. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The mobile App does not use “cookies” like websites, but may use local storage and identifiers to: remember preferences, operate Tokens/subscriptions, and support restore functionality.

12. Do Not Track

Some browsers send Do Not Track signals. There is no universal standard for responding to DNT, and the App does not respond to DNT signals.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the App or via the app store listing. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
